Who Is Brett Myers?
Brett Myers is a Pittsburgh native that has called Houston home for most of his life. Brett attended St. Edwards University University in Austin, TX to get his Bachelors of Fine Arts before coming back to Houston and starting on as our new Graphic Designer.
In addition to his sick graphic design skills, Brett comes from a long line of foodies and can often be found sipping craft cocktails at Anvil Bar and Refuge on the weekends. He also enjoys fishing around the Houston area but says he isn’t very good at it. Here are a few things that he CAN brag about…
Brett’s Bragging Rights
When we asked Brett what he can brag about, he told us that his two-year-old Boxer, Griffin, is without-a-doubt the cutest dog in the entire world. Some of our team members might strongly disagree in favor of their pets, but Brett is entitled to his opinion, and we won’t hold it against him. (We also cannot wait to see more of his dog photos!)
In addition to his “cute” dog, Brett speaks German, plays piano and spends his free time creating his own music. We have a few other musicians on staff, so we are getting even closer to our goal of being able to start our own band! 😉 More to come on that …
Brett is also a member of AIGA, the American Institute of Graphic Arts and plans to join Toastmasters International in the near future.
His New Role
In Brett’s role as the new Marketing Refresh Graphic Designer, he will help clients shape their brands’ images through the creation of thoughtful and visually appealing graphics, websites, and other media.
He is excited to be joining our team because he said the team and work culture seem awesome and laid back. He is really looking forward to getting to know everyone and to work for such “an amazing company.” Those were his words—but we aren’t disagreeing with him!
We want to wish a gigantic welcome to Brett and cannot wait to see what comes next for our team!
